A Johnson County judge ruled Wednesday that there is probable cause for a felony murder charge in a Leawood killing three decades ago. Gary Holcomb Sr., 50, of Kansas City, then pleaded not guilty to the murder of Philip Whitehead. The 32-year-old postal worker was shot to death by home intruders on April 2, 1981.
